If you ask my husband to describe me, he would say that I’m smart, funny and the most indecisive person he knows (but, you know... in a good way!). My kids would say I’m silly and fun. I would describe myself as a creative and someone who loves to learn new things. I've always had a camera in my hand but I first picked up a DSLR in 2009 as a hobby. Within a few years, I was taking portraits for friends, family and eventually, my own kids. I love how versatile digital photography can be. It’s not just someone pressing the shutter on a fancy camera that creates a beautiful picture—every single setting affects the look of the image. I love the art of lighting and the ability to take the vision in my head and bring it to life for my clients.
I’ve learned from some of the best in the industry including Lindsay Adler, Austen Paul, Amy & Jordan Demos, Katelyn James and the Dallas Center for Photography. I built my hobby into a business that allows me to serve creative entrepreneurs and business owners who want to take that next step to stand out in a saturated marketplace by showing off who they are and what they do.
I’m passionate about creating scroll stopping images to help my clients connect to their audience AND teaching them how to use them so they don’t find themselves stuck with a cache of beautiful images but no idea how to talk about them.

01.
I have a love/hate relationship with travel
I'm going to come right out and say it- I hate to fly! Close quarters, loss of control, poor quality snacks... not my thing! But I the adventure once I get there! Some of the best trips I've taken include a South African safari, hiking the Blue Mountains in Australia and relaxing on the beaches of Costa Rica.

I was an ER nurse for seven years and I have the BEST stories!
Seriously. If you have an ER nurse in your life, you know this is true. I'm really entertaining at dinner parties!

I love being outdoors
I used to love cold weather and would obsessively wait for Pete Delkus to tell me it was going to snow every winter (though it rarely happened). Now that I'm a mom? The perfect weather is 77 degrees and partly sunny with a slight breeze!
